The PredictiCare Solution

The PredictiCare Solution

Management with PredictiCare

The PredictiCare system supplements and supports various treament approaches by creating a "virtual hospital" that provides continuous monitoring, allowing for outpatient long-term care. The predictive function of the PredictiCare system mitigates relapses, decreasing adverse events and their related costs.

Basic Functions of PredictiCare

Our computational prognostics detect and predict and therefore prevent adverse events including emergency department visits and mortalities.

Detect adverse events before or during the episodes

Discern that an event is currently taking place, benign or adverse.  Examples range from positive events, such as medication adherence/compliance, to negative events, such as use events (detected by heart rate patterns) and even overdose.

Software analysis predicts when an adverse event may be about to occur

Discern that an adverse event is likely to occur in the future, whether it be in the next three minutes, three hours, or three days.

Prediction allows for intervention via 24/7 staffed management

Communicate with caregivers through intelligently filtered alerts to prevent (or mitigate) a predicted adverse event. Data-driven treatment recommendations are then provided.

PredictiCare Components

This multi-component system includes a treatment recommendation module that enhances efficacy and reduces the burden on caregivers.

Computational Prognostics Engine

Computational Prognostics Engine

  • Pre-processing and pattern recognition
  • Statistical induction & predictive analysis
  • Defeasible inference filters out “illogical” alerts
  • Objective: high sensitivity and specificity in predicting adverse events and calculating Real-Time Prognosis℠

Trained staff oversee and respond 24/7

  • Responds to patient initiated alerts and detected or predicted events
  • Staffed 24/7 by trained personnel
  • Escalates issues to caregiver only when appropriate, thereby leveraging caregiver resources
  • Shows Real-Time Prognosis℠
